COVID-19, Black Lives Matter
Social justice all the chatter
Running ‘round like chickens without heads
No idea which way to go
What the truth is we don’t know
And our future looks like something that we dread

When I think about how much we’ve lost
Our freedoms gone, we’ve paid the cost
Our Founding Fathers turning in their graves
It’s amazing when you see
How it’s all turned out to be
The insanity is hitting us in waves

The world is nuts

Our society and values have turned upside-down
Our future life

The Constitution sits in tatters
Feeling good is all that matters
Living with integrity is past
All the people of today
Have forgot and lost their way

Restore our land to what it’s been

Where at last we understand
That our happiness requires that we live free
