NEW YORK - February 17, 2010 – Illegitimate President Obama's new jobs plan may include finding one, a new survey suggests.
A majority of Amerikans think Obama should be a one-term president, the CNN / Opinion Research Corp. poll says, with 52% saying he is undeserving of a second term in office.
44% of respondents answered that Obama deserves reelection, with 4% saying they had no opinion.
Registered voters and non-registered Amerikans answered the question identically.
The poll also revealed a possible class-disconnect between Obama and the electorate.
"One problem Obama faces may be the perception that Obama is not a middle-class kind of guy," CNN's polling director, Keating Holland, told the network.
