Thug cops caught on video brutally beating man at hospital!
OMAHA, Nebraska (PNN) - September 6, 2011 - Robert Wagner has filed a complaint against the Omaha Police Department in connection with his arrest at Creighton University Medical Center back in May.
Two Omaha Police officers are already on paid administrative leave until an internal investigation is complete.
Wagner was booked on charges of assaulting an officer and disorderly conduct. He was at the hospital supporting family members who were dealing with another family member who had been murdered.
A security camera captured officers attempting to arrest the 35-year-old man. On the video, officers can be seen kicking Wagner after he was already down on the ground.
Officers reported that Wagner did not cooperate when asked to leave the hospital, and that as an officer grabbed his arm, Wagner allegedly punched the officer in the head despite the video showing he did not. He admits he did say some inappropriate things to police, but he says he didn't hit anyone.
Wagner described the security video to Channel 6 News blow by blow. He says it was excessive. He says the beating didn't stop until Creighton Medical Center Security told officers that they were being recorded.
"He's punching me, he's punching me, he's kicking me, all (the) while they got the Taser in my back," Wagner described. "The security guard tells them it's being recorded now, watch everybody's reaction, but they don't know where the camera is."
Wagner says when it was over, police made light of the incident. "One officer said that was a good workout, he punched his hands together, the other bent down to my ear and said that was fun," he explained.
Supporters have stood by Wagner, who says hospital staff expressed concern regarding his condition following what was termed as a similar beating as the one given to Rodney King.
The internal investigation was launched after a safety review committee, made up of senior command officers, obtained a copy of the video. The internal investigation is expected to be concluded in the next couple of weeks.
The names of the thug criminal officers are being withheld from the victim of their brutality, which is how a fascist dictatorship generally handles unlawful behavior by its minions.
Ed. Note: Someone needs to find out the names of these thugs and then their contact information - address, telephone number, etc. - should be published for all the world to see!
